ristretto software package provides lightweight picture-viewer for the Xfce desktop environment, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ristretto
ristretto is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ristretto package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ristretto *
You will get with ristretto package name, version, architecture and description in a table
